BEHIND THE LENS

On Christmas 2010, my mother begged me to take pictures of her. I kept putting it off and by the end of the night, I told her I would take some tomorrow. But for my mother...tomorrow never came.

 

I had always done photo shoots with friends for fun but decided to dedicate my life to photography and making sure I captured events in my life as well as the lives of others, To make sure that if tomorrow never comes, those left behind have photographs that captured their life and events.

 

I named my business Dandelion Photography for two reasons. The dandelion is the official "flower" of Military Brats. Because you blow the seeds of the dandelion and they float away in the wind ending up far from where they began. I was a Military Brat...and I'm very proud of that.

The second reason is a nickname made of my maiden name Dandeneau.

 

A Note About My Style

 

This is not your grandmothers photo session. I can take traditional pictures but it is not my style. I capture your true essence. When your friends and family see the photographs I've taken, I want them to say, "Wow...that is totally YOU"
